Fresh Start.
Lose five. Finish the Pulitzers. Write it all, all the time. Drink more water. Get two published. Figure out the church thing. Recommit to this space. Mexico in the spring, New Orleans in the summer, London in the fall. S t r e t c h. Get this business off the ground (and stop being so damn cryptic about it here). Work on the family stuff. Save some dollars. Wear some heels. Eat some vegetables. Learn everything. Say yes.
Now you go.

Katie, I have no idea what kind of biz you’re starting, but I hope it’s creative. I discovered something I wanted to share with you…moo cards. Check out moo.com. They print these super cool+cheap business cards, and you can use your own photos….up to 100 different ones. I found out about it from a designer/photog friend in NY (who has very high standards…he art directed THE OFFICIAL OBAMA INAUGURATION BOOK (and how cool is that?). We did a se for Kate for Christmas, with her own photos, as calling cards, as she launches herself into the world. Anyway, the price is phenomenal. The matte laminate feels great (not shiny, just nice). Highly recommended. Now off with you into your year of adventure.

I second Kim’s suggestion. My other friend Kim got cute moo cars so she could hand them out at the Blogher conference last year. They were a hit.

Those are fantastic goals.
I’d really like to get enough photography business that I can quit my day job… but who knows if that will happen?
I want to write more. Shoot more film. Get my house in order, true order. Not just stuff stuffed places. I’d like to cook more and stay home more. Visit the beach with my hubs and dog. Save money. Get a Zeiss lens. Believe in myself more this year.
