Five Good Things, Special Edition: Makeout on the Stakeout
Hey guess what! It’s horrible out! The snow is covered in dog pee (I hope it is dog pee), at nearly 30 years old I still have not figured out a way to keep my snowboots from sucking my tights down my legs when I walk, and I found myself nodding along to this yesterday like the author was my own personal Jesus. And I could tell you to go for a brisk walk or light a candle or see your friends, and yes, do all that, those are stellar ideas, but if I’m being honest the thing that makes me happiest in January (and let’s not kid, all year long) is sitting on my couch being over-invested in the love lives of fictional characters like God intended. So! I being you a special edition of Five Good Things: YouTube videos of attractive people making out! Whaaaaat!

2. Will and Alicia, The Good Wife
Delia sums up all my feelings about this show pretty articulately (“as if a close friend had stabbed me”), but damn, this is a good kiss.
3. Betty and Teresa, Bomb Girls
Betty is the best thing about Bomb Girls and maybe the best thing about my 2015 so far. I couldn’t find an isolated video of this kiss, so you have to watch some expository business first? Or just skip to the kissing, like I did!
4. Tim and Lyla, Friday Night Lights
Clear eyes, etc.
Nobody even knows this show exists except for me and like three other people, which is a crying shame. A blackout makeout! I am not made of stone.
